First of all, what is a starseed? A starseed is a human being with soul of an extraterrestrial. These souls may be ancient to the core or very young. Either way, they have decided before incarnating on this planet, to assist in the ascension and awakening of mankind. They may have been preparing for this mission for lifetimes, acquiring the knowledge and experience needed to go forward with this mission.
Are you a starseed? If you feel that you are one, you most likely are. The important thing to remember about soul origins is that they reside in the heart center as this is the seat of the soul. Any information you'd want to know is waiting for you in your heart. If you still want some more confirmation, check out my list of characteristics below:
You Don't Feel like You Belong
This is definitely a huge attribute of star children. Other Earth Angels such as Incarnated Angels will also feel like this but I will touch on that topic another time. Starseeds have this feeling of isolation and feel separated from their friends and family members even if there is no physical separation present. Sometimes it feels like it's "Everyone else and then me". The only time they feel like they belong is if they are around like minded individuals. If they have to be around people that are not on the same wavelength, a sense of loneliness and abandonment can occur.
You Are Extremely Sensitive:
Emotionally, you are a mush. Everything seems to affect you, whether it be the emotions of others or the energy present in a room. While I believe that every person is affected by energies, starseeds have extra sensitivity to the point of it causing a disturbance or discomfort. Most starseeds are like this from birth so they may not realize that what they are feeling is not "normal" or typical for the average person.
You Are Drawn to Anything Esoteric, Spiritual or Paranormal:
Many star children either have a strong interest in the metaphysical or will have spiritual experiences from a young age. Some might even be drawn to religion as many of them have had lives committed to spiritual growth or service. Their spiritual interests will come to serve them more as they grow into adolescence or adulthood and become more focused on finding their life purpose.
Your Parents Might Be Unloving:
This doesn't go for all starseeds of course. There are a lot of starseeds that have very supportive parents. In my experience, the parents of star children have been close minded, abusive, neglectful and just plain mean. While this may be considered a possible Universal mistake because of all the pain it causes, it's actually a predetermined situation. The pain and grief caused by unloving parents triggers a spiritual awakening at one point or another. The child may be submissive or rebellious in response...this will depend on the child and their past karmic connections. Regardless of the way this treatment is dealt with, they WILL be called to search for a deeper meaning in life. "Do I truly deserve this?" "Is this all there is?" will be some of the questions asked as many starseeds have an internal alarm clock that will sound off as a call from the Universe saying, "It is time"
You Want to Discover the Meaning of Life:
Starseeds are far from being shallow. These souls are deep and want answers. They do not want to submit to the usual programming that is common to people living on Earth. It might even be hard for a starseed to remain committed to a typical 9-5 job at a store or bank. They resist these kinds of jobs because they need freedom and slave jobs like these only serve to limit their creative and spiritual expression. Starseeds are here to break down the old, worn out systems that are no longer serving human beings and usher in a newer, more loving paradigm.
You Are Very Creative:
Whether it be through drawing, music or entertainment, creativity is what gives starseeds motivation. This is how they connect to the Universe and the Divine. What they may not understand in the beginning is that they are also channeling messages and healing frequencies which are in turn healing the people that surround them. Their creative abilities are gifts brought with them from their home planet to help and heal the people of Earth.
You Are Highly Intuitive:
Yes, everyone is blessed with the gift of intuition. Starseeds, however, seem to have these abilities heightened from an early age. They are able to sense when others are lying or just know the truth of any situation. They are hurt immensely if they do discover that someone is not being honest. As a result, they may very well try to block their abilities as the truth is hurtful to them. Communicating with animals may also come easily as they are wonderful at telepathic communication.
Your Eyes Penetrate the Soul:
While physical characteristics are not always a reliable indicator of starseed-ness, the eyes are one physical trait that show the cosmic origins of these beings. The brightness, the depth and the penetrating power of starseed eyes is unmistakable. There are different varieties of this energy depending on the other characteristics that come into play. Someone with angelic qualities will have a softer, more compassionate gaze, while a person with witchy qualities will have a deeper, darker gaze. Some starseeds are just a mix of everything because of their past lifetimes and this will show in the quality of their gaze.
You Always Want to Help:
Starseeds are wonderful at serving others, whether it be their friends, family or community. The one thing they must be careful of is boundaries. It's very easy for starseeds to get taken advantage of as helping others is very normal to them on their home planet. They need to remember that this is a different planet, filled with people that don't always have their best interest at heart. They may go from helping locally, to helping people on a global scale within a short time span.
You Are Visited by ETs or Have Dreams of Your Home Planet:
Depending on the person, this can begin from an early age, or occur a little later on as they start to open up more. The dreams and visitations may be a reminder of their origins or a sign that something within them is about to change or shift. Star beings tend to visit people that have a mission but either have not started or need support and guidance.
Now, remember that you do not have to have ALL of these qualities to be a starseed. The best way to know if you are a starseed is to tune into your heart center. Do you feel you are a starseed? If yes, then you are :)
